As a guitarist, Austin’s hope is to pass on the knowledge he is gaining, and to bring people together while helping them to achieve their goals in music.

Austin comes from a music Tradition which strongly values personal connection that develops into a musical family. This has fueled his passion for music and played a large part in making him the musician he is today. Following in these footsteps, he hopes to inspire confidence and diligence in the community.

Strong fundamentals are important to the growth of any student. To Austin this means teaching good technique, rhythm and a deep understanding of what is happening musically. It is also important that the student is able to continue learning in between lessons. To facilitate this, he teaches how to read music, tabs, lead sheets, or any combination of the three. While the fundamentals are important, Austin also understands that enjoying lessons and the learning process is paramount, with this in mind he customizes his lesson plans for each student so they get to play music they love. This is key in maintaining excitement and motivation.
